Metric upgrade users must verify minimum tire clearance is met; modified or lowered bikes may not be valid for upgrades
Stage 1 upgrades specify a larger ME880 rear tire on OEM-size wheel with no modifications to the motorcycle
Stage 2 upgrades specify a larger ME880 tire on OEM size wheel, or a different diameter wheel and may necessitate modifications to the motorcycle; these changes may include modifying the brake stay arm and/or exhaust mounts
